what we do
Here at the Wildlife Center, we provide a home for a variety of animals including birds of prey, mammals, reptiles as well as some domestic animals. Most of the animals in our care are native to South Carolina and you have a chance of seeing these animals across the property while visiting! All of the native animals in our care are considered non-releasable, meaning they cannot be released back into the wild due to past injuries sustained in the wild or being orphaned as young. Each animal in our care has their own unique story as to how they came to be at the Wildlife Center. Below we have highlighted stories from some of our residents. Here, all of the animals receive routine veterinary care as well as daily training and enrichment to ensure our animals receive the best quality of care. Make sure to stop by on your visit and meet the rest of our animals!
