Magnolia Plantation & Gardens’ educational programs are thoughtfully designed to align with South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Standards, ensuring educational value and curriculum relevance. Subject areas include U.S. and South Carolina history, ecology & nature, and horticulture, visual arts, & design.
Your students will explore vibrant ecosystems, engage with Lowcountry history, and enjoy a fun and immersive learning environment!
Our guided field trips offer groups the ability to participate in guided tours on property, specialty classes, and create fully custom itineraries. The following tours are offered daily:

Our self-guided field trips allow groups to explore the property at their own pace. Guided tours are not included, but the following areas are available for exploration with admission:

Our teacher resources give educators a mix of fun and educational activities to inspire curiosity about nature and history. We offer affordable rates for educational groups and make it easy to plan your visit.

We welcome self-guided school and youth groups at a discounted rate throughout the year.
